So.
I'm supposed to be about two months into marathon training. I'm securely NOT two months into marathon training. Time-wise...yes. Mileage-wise...definitely no.
I ran once this week while out here on business in California on the night that I had the time and energy after work and felt recovered enough from the cold I've been fighting off.
I say again, So.
I'm beginning to think that I'll have to start looking for a 4 month marathon training plan instead of a 6 month one. Because I've kind of blown the first 2 months already.
Anyone out there ever been in my shoes?
Lololololol!

Still here...and there...
Been enjoying the spring running, biking, and now the weekly kickball league. When I can get it, that is. With two weeks of travel and one week of a nasty cold this month, I have felt much less active than I would like to be. But summer is coming, my tomato plants are getting sunned on, and my grill has been in use. I love it!
I'm heading out to California again next week, but I'm training the customers this time, so I hope I'll get a few more hours of daytime to take care of myself this trip. Like buying some groceries and going for runs. Ahh, that would be wonderful! I don't ask for much.
Also, the candidate for my old position at my job accepted our offer, so she'll be starting the day I return to the office. Woo hoo! My transition into project coordination/management continues! I moved my cubicle today from the front desk to the engineering area. It felt wierd but great.
Oh, yah...the hubby is in the process of getting hired into a new job, too. Onward and upward!

HOME!!!
I'm so excited to be home from my business trip. This is my first full day back, and some friends and I went down to Yankee Springs for a great mountain bike ride. Even though I felt low on energy - I'm still recovering from 140 hours in the past two weeks - it felt so good to be moving. I love riding through the Michigan woods, burning up a tough hill, soaking in the sun.
I still need to sit down and figure out how to catch up on my marathon training, but I'll start with a nice long run tomorrow. The hubby volunteered to bike along with me to keep me company. How can I turn that down? :)

Warehouse Cargo Bikes
Cargo bikes in the warehouse where my company is installing a sortation system. I really, really, really want to ride the pink one around the facility!
